Can food stamps be used to purchase vitamins and health supplements?

So the fukking government lies when they say "We want you and your family to eat healthy". What they really mean is "We want you to keep buying America's worse junk food with additives, hydrogenated oils, fats, sugar, candy, and any other piece of crap food you desire, but STAY AWAY from VITAMINS AND HEALTH SUPPLEMENTS BECAUSE THEY MAKE YOU WELL, AND THAT IN TURN MEANS NO BUSINESS FOR DOCTORS, DRUG COMPANIES AND HOSIPTALS. UNBELIEVABLE

No on the vitamins but yes on some supplements. It's a trial and error thing. A lot of protein supplements are covered. Slim fast is covered. The best place to try is Walmart as their computers are correctly coded most often.
