How does a person have the coronary arteries checked? Is it done with a needle?

How do we have all the other arteries check to see if any plaque is building up or blockage?

We use Dye and the procedure is known as Cardiac Angiography. Please type" Cardiac Angiography Procedure" and search, this will help you a lot.

See a heart specialist. He'll first give you a stress test, somewhat like jogging. If he thinks there may be a problem, he'll do an EKG, just some wires stuck to you recording your, heart rate. If needed, he'll inject a dye into you veins he can see by x-ray, no pain, then further procedures if necessary.
First, have your doctor refer you to a heart specialist.
