Plaque is something that takes time to start slowly building up and if ya watch your diet cut down on bad Carbs ( pasta, rice, potato's, and bread)and Keep taking your medication you'll do fine .On the average right away you start plaque . like your teeth if you don't brush them every day look what happens to them same as your arteries.

After my bypass, I had some chest pain in 6 months. A new collateral that had grown had a partial blockage that required a stent. I had been eating walnuts for the omega oils, but it was too much oil.

I am now on a very low fat diet.
