If one has arteries that have narrowed with plaque etc…, can they be cleaned naturally without drugs?

I want to find out what can I do to not only prevent but reduce the narrowing of my arteires without having to take drugs. Will exercising help OPEN arteries? Reducing my fat intake is a more obvious solution.

The best thing is to prevent the blockages from developing in the first place. It is much easier to prevent a disease then to treat it once it occurs. There are many things that have been shown to reduce the risk of developing blockages in the arteries that supply the heart known as coronary artery disease. Risk factors for coronary artery disease include advanced age, smoking, family history, high blood pressure, high LDL "bad" cholesterol, low HDL "good" cholesterol, diabetes and obesity. Obviously age and family history are not modifiable risk factors, but the rest are modifiable. Regular aerobic exercise is associated with a reduced risk of heart disease. A healthy well balanced diet full of fruits, vegetables and omega 3 fatty acids and low in saturated fat, cholesterol and salt is associated with a reduced risk of heart disease. The Mediterranean diet is associated with the greatest reduction in heart disease. If the person smokes, then quitting will reduce their risk of heart disease over time.

Unfortunately there is no known way to reduce blockages once they occur. Medications can be used to stabilize the plaques and reduce the risk of heart attacks and cardiovascular death, but they do not technically reduce the blockages. Exercise leads to a temporary dilation of the arteries that supply the heart, but exercise does not reduce the blockages to the best of our knowledge. Hopefully in the future there will be ways to reduce the blockages once they occur, but it is not possible at this time. Procedures like angioplasty and stent placement can be used to open up the blood vessel at the site of blockages, but this would not be a "natural" process.

There are things you can do. Naturally, you want to watch your diet and exercise. A good book on diet and nutrition is "Eat To Live" by Joel Fuhrman MD. Included in this book you will find information on how to prevent this and many other health issues. And he explains how you may be able to reverse it through a healthy diet and lifestyle. Also there are several natural, safe and effective ways to clean and strengthen your arteries. In the sources section I’ll refer you to a couple pages on a site with a lot of good information. Don’t hesitate to look further on that site and others. You’ll be surprised at all the options and information available. A couple things you may want to consider are cayenne, ginger, garlic, and apple cider vinegar just to name a few that are common and easily found.

Hey all you have to take is malic acid it comes from apples or apple cider vinegar 2000mg will disolve the plaque over a 2 month period. Msm puts a slick coating over your arteries so the plaque wont stick to your arteries 1000mg. If you do some research you will find out malic acid disolves calcium in the body. I had high blood presure blocked arteries and after taking the malic acid i have low blood presure and feel great……..
